Every tournament rep is earned.
The typical travel team plays 35–60 games per season. Most of those are tournaments on weekends, with almost no practice time in between. MGBA Travel is different. We cap tournaments at 10 per year — maximum — and keep the rest of the time where development actually happens: practice.

At the end of every season, every MGBA Travel player receives a written development report — measurable improvements in exit velocity, pitch velocity, fielding, and baseball IQ. Something to show coaches at the next level. No other youth program in the CSRA does this.
Tryouts are by invitation after evaluating players in MGBA lessons, camps, and community league. Register your interest and we'll be in touch when spots open.

Tryouts are required — roster spots are earned.
Register your interest at mindgamebaseball.com. Players currently in MGBA lessons or camps are seen regularly and evaluated naturally. Formal tryouts will be announced ahead of the travel team's launch. No player receives automatic placement — the tryout is the standard.
The estimated all-in cost is $800–$1,500 per player per season — significantly below the $3,000–$8,000 typical of comparable travel programs. The regional tournament focus keeps hotel and travel costs minimal. Full pricing will be announced at tryouts.
The MGBA travel team launches with 12U and 14U divisions, matching the community league age groups. Each age group fields one team. Additional age groups may be added in future seasons.
No. The MGBA travel team schedule intentionally avoids the fall league season. No travel team tournaments run from September through October — that window is reserved for the community league. Players can participate in both programs.
MGBA Travel competes in USSSA-sanctioned tournaments with a regional CSRA focus — keeping most events within driving distance of North Augusta. The schedule caps at 10 tournaments per year: up to 2 per month June–July, 1 in August, 1 per month in the spring, and 1 in November. No tournaments in December or January.
