Baseball Academy Serving Aiken SC and Aiken County

Aiken County has five SCHSL high school baseball programs across three classifications — Aiken, South Aiken, Midland Valley, Langley-Bath-Clearwater, and Silver Bluff — all competing in Region 5. The players who make those rosters are the ones who started developing early. Mind Game Baseball Academy brings professional coaching to Aiken County towns including Aiken, Graniteville, Bath, Belvedere, and Wagener — so players don't have to leave the county to get real development.

Preparing for Aiken County High School Baseball

Aiken County SCHSL Region 5 baseball includes South Aiken Thoroughbreds, Aiken Tornadoes, Midland Valley Mustangs, Langley-Bath-Clearwater Gators, and Silver Bluff Bulldogs — plus North Augusta Yellow Jackets at the county's eastern edge.

Competition for roster spots is real across all five programs. MGBA works with players from 8U through 18U on the fundamentals, baseball IQ, and coachability that Region 5 coaches evaluate at tryouts.

Development starts before ninth grade. Players who arrive at South Aiken, Aiken HS, or Midland Valley tryouts with mechanics already in place have a measurable advantage.
